Gap on top at Christmas

There is a five-point gap now between the second tier pack comprised of Chelsea, Arsenal Far behind comes Manchester United. The Spurs and coach Pochettino have been impressive so far this season and will play the Champions League Round of 16 against Dortmund at the end of winter. There is no wonder why the Argentinian manager receives praise and is rumored to be the next Real Madrid or Manchester United coach…. To be continued.

Spurs coach, Pochettino, on the win:

“It was an amazing performance. We feel very proud about the performance and proud of the players for their efforts after Wednesday. We’re flying on the pitch.

It was so tough because we started the game really well, we created a lot of chances and then we conceded. We were down but the team spirit was fantastic to come back [1-3 at the break for the Spurs]. It was amazing in the end, the performance.

Overall, the 90 minutes were fantastic, nothing more to say. Of course, disappointed with the two goals we conceded. That is football. Everton are a very good team, you can always concede some chances but after Wednesday, that performance was fantastic.”

Yes, we need to go home! It was 26 years ago, my wedding and look today, the scoreline – 2-6! Unbelievable! We talk about coincidence sometimes. I will use that as a present to my wife!”
