Bundesliga week 19
Borussia Dortmund have been the best team in Germany this year and are heavily favorites to win the title six years after their last title. BVB also look forward to stopping Bayern Munich’s domination. The Bavarians have won the last 6 titles and 9 out of the last 13 seasons!
Borussia only lost once this season in the Bundesliga and have a comfortable lead following the rout of Hannover 5-1 in front 80,000+ fans, the best attendance in Germany and also one of the best crowd in Europe. They go nine points clear of Bayern Munich before their match.
But, there is still a long way to go and Champions League clash against Tottenham is looming in just a couple weeks. Borussia Dortmund must stay focus if they want to win the Bundesliga title
German International Götze comments on the win:
“We struggled at the beginning. We initially lacked control, Hannover performed well in the first half. As a result, we were not entirely satisfied with the way the first period panned out despite taking the lead.
In the second half, though, things went really well. We took our goalscoring opportunities and deserved to win.”
