Premier League week 19

Without Jose Mourinho, Paul Pogba has returned to his old form over the last two games scoring 2 goals and dishing 3 assists.

Manchester United has also produced a great football scoring 8 goals in two games and two wins. Players seem happy and they enjoy being coach by the former player newbie coach Solskjaer. The Norwegian can be happy with the way his team has been responding:

Coach Solskjaer on the big win:

“The result was great. Obviously, you win the game and get three points. I think we started off slowly and maybe [it was] the whole occasion, we took one touch too many, we didn’t create too many chances early. After we got the first goal, I think we settled down, we passed it quicker. There was a period just before half-time when you thought we would get the second here and it will be game over.

In the second half, the first seven or eight minutes, I think we struggled then David’s save was the key moment for us. You know every team, whatever game you are playing, if you are at home or away, they will get a chance because there is quality in all Premier League teams and that save must be one of the best I have seen – probably the best.

We wanted some experience, you know with Ashley [Young] and Ander [Herrera] you get players that have been around the block because I thought we had struggled in the second half when we started, so it just settled the whole thing down.

It was great to see him score two goals and he has created the goals last week at Cardiff, and now he scores them himself, so he will be even better for getting two lots of 90 minutes now and he will be fitter and fitter and improving with the team.

We looked tired towards the end and now it is important over the next two or three days that we recover and get ready for Bournemouth.”
