Paris Saint-Germain 4-0 Nantes
Zlatan Ibrahimovic had already broken PSG‘s record for the most goals scored overall but now became the highest goal scorer in one season for the club with 38 goals beating an old record set by Carlos Bianchi more than 35 years ago.
In 4 years Ibrahimovic won everything with the French champions at the Ligue 1 level but also with numerous cups. The only negative point is the Champions League that the club never was able to pass the quarterfinal stage. He leaves PSG as a legend of the club and will be forever remembered there.

Reactions from coach Laurent Blanc:
“There have been many highlights. I think you’d need a fair bit of time to do his career here justice. He is a fantastic player. There is a relationship between the player and the man. I don’t know the man so well, but I have a lot of admiration for him. He has been a determining factor in the cusses of Paris Saint-Germain’s project. On the field, in terms of image and charisma, everyone has an opinion one way or the other.
He has helped to make this club’s project a reality. He helped the team to surpass the owners’ hopes. Along with the other players, he has made sure that this club is known around the world. He’s a competitor. I have rarely seen one like him. He has been there every day, wanting to play and win every single match.”
President Al-Khelaifi on Zlatan’s return:
“I spoke about it with him. He smiled and said to me, ‘If I leave, you’ll forget me’. I told him that we would never forget him and that the door would always be open. He wants to work with us. With his experience and all he has done for the club and the history of the club, we need him. We will talk again when he hangs up his boots and see what he wants to do with us. His adventure with Paris Saint-Germain isn’t over yet.”
