South America’s Most Popular Soccer Tournament Will Feature Mobile Capabilities for Expanded Coverage for the First Time

December, 2010– Miami, Florida- Traffic Sports has reached an agreement with Univision that will allow the Copa America 2011 to be broadcasted exclusively on their television network, with the tournament beginning on the first of July, carrying through until July 24th. Univision will be airing Copa America coverage with the option of unprecedented mobile capabilities.

The Copa America is the premiere soccer tournaments held in South America as all of the continent’s nations send their best players to strive for the championship and is also one of the most followed by Hispanic Americans. This year, however, Univision has made significant improvements in its technological capabilities by leveraging its HD broadcast, digital and on-demand platforms to deliver non-stop action throughout all twenty-six days of the tournament.
