Nigeria Football Federation has quashed any hopes of Lagos fans getting to watch the Super Eagles play their matches in the commercial capital any longer as it has insisted that the Abuja National Stadium
is the home of the team.

Coach Samson Siasia had expressed hopes of a return to Lagos of the team in the March 27 AFCON qualifier against Ethiopia.

Samson whose fond memories of the Lagos crowd during his playing days encouraged him to seek for a return has now been cautioned by NFF president Aminu Maigari against false hopes noting that Abuja will be the only home of the Super Eagles.
