Another year and another double League Cup and soon Ligue 1 titles for PSG. While constantly failing at the European level, the French club has no equivalence in France and trash opposing teams every single week.
AS Monaco did not come to play and it was a poor display for the Reds and White. Mbappe was phenomenal and tortured his former team.

“Monaco played really well this evening, but we were able to impose our style of play and keep our philosophy. We were on top of things, especially in the first half. We didn’t give them a lot of chances and we managed to create a lot for ourselves.
We were able to control the match and the scoreline without putting ourselves in danger.”
President Al-Khelaïfi added:
“I think it was a good match, a good advert for French football. We were very good this evening. We could have scored more, but we’re very happy with the win. We’re very proud of this new trophy.
It’s very important for the club, the fans, the players and the staff, of course. We played well this evening. We still have two trophies to win this season, the league and the Coupe de France, and we’ll be able to focus on other objectives next season. But we want to win what we can still win this season.”
