Lille-Lens : 1-0

Lille is definately a solid leader and, at this very moment, deserves to win the championship. Without being brilliant in the Northern Derby versus Lens, the guys of Rudi Garcia managed to make a difference and not to panic facing a strong defense. Well bodyguarded, Eden Hazard was not the hero of the day at the Stadium Nord. Tulio De Melo, the talented but often injured Brazilian, nicely scored (68’) with a soft touch of his right foot. Lille has the luck and the success of a potential champion. With 17 games left, will the euphoria last until the end ?

Arles-Avignon-PSG :1-2

The fantastic goal of Damé N’Diaye (56’), the young striker of Arles-Avignon, did not prevent his team to loose versus the still competitive Paris Saint-Germain. Already doomed to join the Ligue 2 next year, Arles had a quite courageous game but missed too many opportunities. For Paris, the awakening of Mevlut Erding happened just in time. The Turkish striker had two goals (17’ and 49’) to let his team put the pressure on Lille.

Monaco-Marseille : 0-0

What an awful game! Marseille had to win versus Monaco to keep on hoping but surprisingly offered an amazingly ugly partition to their fans who had done the short journey to Monaco. Nobody really knows what happened to this team but we can barely recognize it. Lucho Gonzalez is like a ghost on the field, Gignac is horribly harmless, Rémy seems to be afraid of what he could do, and the absence of Mathieu Valbuena was too obvious on Sunday night. If they don’t react soon, the Southerners will abandon their title and maybe a position on the podium… Though very defensive, Monaco proved they had the ressources to make a better second part of season and avoid a cataclysmic fall in Ligue 2.
