The LA Galaxy announced today that the club has reached an agreement with Alaska Airlines that will see the airline become an official partner of the club. As part of the partnership, Alaska Airlines will offer Galaxy fans the chance to win a trip to see the club play on the road against the San Jose Earthquakes on Sunday, October 21.

Through the “Score a Direct Kick with Alaska Airlines” sweepstakes, Galaxy fans will also have a chance to win tickets to Galaxy home games. Those winners will then compete on the field at halftime for the chance to win round- trip tickets to any Alaska Airlines destination served from Los Angeles. Alaska Airlines offers non-stop flights from Los Angeles International Airport to 19 cities in the United States, Canada and Mexico, including Portland, Ore., San Jose, Calif., Seattle, Wash., Vancouver, B.C. and Reagan National in Washington D.C., meaning that winning fans could use their flights to see the Galaxy play on the road at any of those destinations this season or next.

At the end of the sweepstakes, one grand prize winner will receive a trip for two to the Galaxy’s final road game of the regular season against the Earthquakes at Buck Shaw Stadium on October 21. The grand prize includes a round-trip flight on Alaska Airlines, hotel accommodations and tickets to the match.
