“Our qualification hopes were in the balance tonight and a defeat would have been harsh on us. We created several goal-scoring opportunities in both games. Tonight was a “sporting miracle”.
“After they scored their second I hoped we could pull off a sporting miracle because it was something we deserved. We did well to stay in the game after they equalized and were rewarded for sticking to our task following the break.
“My team-mates at the back put in a good performance, affording them very few chances, and defended with discipline.”
