Antonio Conte on away win at Lecce! Lecce 0-1 Juventus
The win sees Juve’s unbeaten run maintained and the 42-year-old expressed his delight at the team’s attitude.
Speaking at the final whistle, Conte began: “I said on the eve of the game that the championship restart is always an unknown quantity. The manager then looked to comment on the transfer market and, in particular, the recent acquisition of Marco Borriello.
He concluded: “Marco’s explained why he didn’t come here two years ago. He didn’t turn the club down; also because only someone crazy would turn reject Juventus. He, alongside Quagliarella, Matri, Del Piero and Vucinic, is one of the five strikers I have available. We’ll see what happens in the rest of the transfer window – I speak with the club every day.”
