Lisa Evans is joining an elite bunch of Scottish women that many footballers from the male side of the sport in Scotland would give their left arm for, joining a Champions League winning full time German team.
After impressing in the last 16 match between Glasgow City and Turbine Potsdam earlier in this years Champions league campaign, she was offered the opportunity to impress in a trial which led Lisa to being offered a contract with the full time German side.
The difference between playing in Scotland and Germany are like night and day in terms of finance and although playing with Glasgow City has seen Lisa win every domestic honour available to her, the status of the team is amateur compared to now being able to play full time with Potsdam which is a dream move for any young player.
Lisa is now only part of a elite club of only five Scottish players to ever have been able to play full time football and the news for the 20 year old comes at a great time and a huge boost as she heads into a European Championship double for Scotland before heading out to Germany for pre season training in July.
Football fans in Scotland wish her well.
