Bay Area Sports & Orthopedics Continue Pirate Home Shirt Sponsorship
It is then with great pride that we can announce that after some deep and meaningful negotiations, Bay Area Sports & Orthopedics will renew their current deal for a further year.
It shows great continuity and trust between both parties who have enjoyed a superb working relationship together since joining forces last year.
Keith Schauder MD, Sports Medicine said” We are pleased to continue our affiliation with the Pirate Soccer organization for another year. They have shown great strides to grow as a feature in the community and as the ‘Only Professional Sports Club in Galveston’, we are delighted to continue our partnership with them”
“They have had a lot of press coverage recently what with their TV and media coupling with Azteca TV; Partner this with matches against San Antonio Scorpions and the upcoming NPSL season, we know as well as everyone else does that the Pirates are quickly becoming a regular feature in the sports pages around the area.” continued Dr. Schauder.
“With all this coverage, we appreciate the benefits we can earn from sponsoring the side and that’s why we want to continue our partnership with the soccer club.”
Dr Schauder is an orthopedic surgeon with over 20 years of experience in sports medicine and general orthopedics. He is a graduate of Baylor College Medicine Medical School and is Board Certified by the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.
Dr. Schauder is also very active in his soccer activities. He coached his two sons in the fine arts of soccer and whenever possible, still likes to participate in on the soccer field. His son Dylan is currently in college at SMU pursuing his love of the sport as well.
Pirate owner and head coach Brendan Keyes said:”It’s great to have the Doc on board for yet another year, and shows his faith in us as we progress through the perils of American soccer. We are proud to have his name upon our home shirts for the upcoming season and the shirt will first be on display when we open our NPSL account against America USA FC at Weis Stadium in Galveston on May 11.”
“Soccer is the number one growth sport and the second most watched sport in the USA so the potential participation from the public is huge. With this growth comes awareness and press coverage which is great for us but also for our sponsorship partners. We want Bay Area Sports & Orthopedics to benefit from this partnership because if he’s happy, we’re happy and continues the wonderful working relationship we have together.” continued Keyes.
