FC Dallas star Brek Shea is hotly tipped for a move to Europe with a number of clubs chasing him.

The tattooed Texan has been in scintillating form this season in the MLS with 10 goals and three assists already to his name.

English heavy weights Chelsea, Liverpool and both Manchester giants are reportedly after the 20 year old and Schalke have already had a £2.5m bid rejected.

Liverpool and Manchester City deployed scouts to watch his impressive performance as the US beat Honduras 1-0 on Saturday.

National coach, Jurgen Klinsmann, is understood to be wary of a move abroad for Shea and would prefer the youngster to develop by playing first team football in the US rather than warming the bench across the pond. Klinsmann has already shown, he is not afraid to drop a player from the national team if they are not player regular club football.

The race for Shea is on.
