Seattle Sounders will now be facing head to head match against Philadelphia Union on coming Saturday, 17th April, 2016 at Century Link Field. Seattle Sounders have lost the opening two games and will be desperate to win the match against the host team. The Union on the other hand, have won 3 of their last 4 matches and will be a tough team against the Sounders. The soccer predictions provide the best result about the team clashing against each other.

After 3-1 Philadelphia win vs. Seattle in 2010, the Sounders have won two last meetings at the same field in 2014. Union are led by forward CJ Sapong and veteran Chris Pontius, and have picked up very well in this season. In addition to this, Rookie defender Keegan Rosenberry was impressive in his first MLS season.

For Sounders, there is good news as Sebastian Le Toux will be returning to the team. The 32year old Frenchman will be playing the game for the 8th year and 6th against the Union. In total, Le Toux has scored 24 goals in 54 league matches for Sounders

Seattle Looking forward:

Seattle’s 1-1 draw against Houston Dynnamo on Sunday wasn’t the most effective game from the team. However, the team made it hard to win the match and avoid the fourth loss in the five games season. Veteran center back Chad Marshall, since 2014 has scored his first goal in the draw match and will be the key player against the Union. This was his second in the regular season since 2014, and first of his career without his head.

Philadelphia- A Surprise Package:

The Unions have come out to be the surprise package in this season, and have won matches against Columbus, New England and Orlando City SC. As mentioned above, key players like CJ Sapong, Chris Pontius and defender Keegan Rosenberry have shown a great skill in last few matches. Among all, the Union staffs are counting high on Sapong, as he is set to kick big goals this year. Midfielder Brian Carroll is another player to watch for and is playing the best game since 2003.

Players to watch out for:

Philadelphia Union:

Roland Alberg: Singed with the club on Feb 4, 2016, he played against FC Dallas and has so far racked up 232 minutes.

Brian Caroll: Joined the club in 2010, Caroll played 5 games this year and is now constant in the midfield for the Union.

Sebastien Le Toux: Toux holds the record of 48 goals, 45 assists and 305 shots. In 2016, he appeared in all 5 matches of the seasons.

Seattle Sounders FC:

Oalex Anderson: Under the direction of Head Coach and St. Vincent native Ezra Hendrickson, Anderson appeared in 16 matches for USL club and kicked 4 goals till date.

Herculez Gomez: By making 7 appearances and scoring one goal, Gomez needs to showcase his lost skills against Union.

Jordan Morris: The MAC Hermann Trophy winner in 2015, he was capped as outstanding player with a brace in 4-0 win over Clemson. This year he earned 5 GP at the career statistics.

Prediction:

The head on head match will see a dramatic win of the team that will go ahead in the MLS game.
