Rangers beat Celtic 3-2 at Ibrox on Sunday as Neil Lennon’s men were made to wait at least another week in their attempt to clinch the Clydesdale Bank Premier League title.

Ally McCoist’s side had lost their last three home games but took the lead through a fine individual goal from Sone Aluko before Cha Du-Ri was sent off for bringing down Lee Wallace.

The visitors were reduced to 10 men when Victor Wanyama was dismissed by referee Calum Murray for a lunge on Steven Whittaker early in the second half and Rangers took advantage with further goals from substitute Andy Little and Wallace in 72 and 77 minutes.

Celtic rallied in the closing stages and Scott Brown pulled one back from the spot after Carlos Bocanegra was sent off for a trip on Georgios Samaras. Thomas Rogne headed in a stoppage time corner but Rangers held on to make it two Old Firm wins out of two at Ibrox this season.
