New York City Football Club has entered into a partnership with the New York Presbyterian Hospital while Major League Soccer counterpart Los Angeles Galaxy has made luxury watchmaker Ritmo Mundo an official partner for the 2015 season.

New York Presbyterian and New York City FC will collaborate on a host of community and health-related programmes.

As a founding sponsor, the hospital’s affiliated Columbia Orthopedics will provide New York City FC with team physician services as it prepares for its MLS debut in the forthcoming campaign.

Terms for the agreement between New York City FC – which is part-owned by English Premier League champion Manchester City and Major League Baseball team New York Yankees – and New York Presbyterian Hospital were not disclosed.

Meanwhile, LA Galaxy’s tie-up with Ritmo Mundo marks the watch manufacturer’s maiden venture into professional team sports sponsorship.

Ritmo Mundo will activate its partnership with LA Galaxy for the 2014-15 MLS season to promote its LED slap watches brand, Reflex.

The Beverly Hills based company established endorsement deals with Brazilian international football players Paulinho, Bernard, Ramires, Victor and Willian ahead of the 2014 Fifa World Cup.
