“It was a balanced match. We started well, but without getting in behind them. In the second half, our attitude was better and we produced better football. After our goal, we should have made more of the chances we had to score again, but the sending off (of Mario Lemina) put the handbrake on the team.
(On new signing Lucas Ocampos’ debut) He gives us more aggression in attack, a bit more presence and a bit more depth. After the first half, we needed our attack to endanger our opponents more, and he gave us that, even though we struggled to break the Rennes defence down all day.”
