Maybe they’ll go undefeated…and Edson Buddle will break Roy Lassiter’s single season goal-scoring record…and they’ll win the U.S. Open Cup…and they’ll get Beckham back before they win MLS Cup in Toronto…

Maybe, just maybe…this is the year that the Los Angeles Galaxy gets it all.

It’s been a while since the Galaxy have gotten off to this great of a start…and with the way they’ve been playing, who is going to beat them?  Bruce seems to be putting out a balanced lineup with plenty of options (did I see Jovan out there last night?) and has a striker on a goal-scoring tear right now (Edson Buddle nine goals in seven games). Buddle should have had his tenth of the year last night against Colorado, but a heavy first touch took what should have been a sure goal into an easy save for the keeper.

Look for the Galaxy to continue to roll while the rest of the west enjoys the roll of innocent onlookers. Colorado will be hard pressed to make the playoffs.

How about Chivas USA laying some leather on the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium Wednesday night 4-0? It’s a surprise that the crowd of just under 6,000 fans didn’t intimidate Chivas USA. It was more like the 60,000 empty seats that probably scared them into playing so well just so that they could get out of there!

It feels like it’s time for a change of scenery in New England. Maybe Nichol needs to move on…and the team needs to get its own stadium or move somewhere.

Dominic Kinnear has got to be feeling sick to his stomach today after enduring a 1-0 loss to a 10-man FC Dallas at home last night. What is up with that? Is Houston losing its touch or is FC Dallas simply getting better? You decide…I think you know my answer on that one.

It was good to see FC Dallas defender Ugo Ihemelu score the game winner. I’m actually a big fan of Ugo and think if he can get out of Dallas and onto a legit team he might just drift back into the national team picture.

D.C. United made me eat my words by beating the Wizards at RFK 2-1 last night behind two goals from Australian Danny Allsopp. Curt Onalfo can rest easy, at least until the weekend. Can somebody please give Josh Wolff a coaching job or broadcasting gig? I just can’t stand watching him play anymore. There are a lot of fast players out there that can do what he does (run fast, score a goal every full moon).

In EPL action…how about Tottenham? Give credit to Rednapp and the boys for grabbing the last Champions League spot. That probably cost Mancini his job. Big money, big pressure.
