MLS: Toronto FC 0-1 Houston Dynamo

Coach Dynamo Dominic Kinnea on his GK Tyler Deric:

“I don’t know if he’s going to be that good every game he plays, but he has the potential to be a very good goalkeeper, and I think he’s fulfilling that right now.

He’s been good. I wouldn’t say he’s been a secret, but I want people to know about him, because Tally’s been so good for us and Tyler just hasn’t had the chances to play.”

Toronto Midfielder Michael Bradley:

“There’s nine points left on the table. If we take nine points, I’m pretty sure we’re going to be right there. I think taking seven points gives you a really good chance. So, until somebody tells me that, mathematically, we’re no longer in it, every single guy in this locker room is still going to be believing.”

Toronto Coach  – Greg Vanney:

“What we lost today was our margin of error for the rest of the season. We now have to go out and we have to win – that’s it. We had a slight margin of error coming into this game for the next four games but now we don’t have that. Now we have to pick up wins on the road in addition to the one home match we have against Montreal.”

“For me, we’ve got to be almost perfect from here on out. If we play like tonight and we finish our chances, maybe that’s enough. But we need to be more clinical when we get our opportunities. We’ve got to be solid the rest of the way.”
