The LA Galaxy will make a major player announcement on Wednesday, December 16 at the ESPN Zone at LA Live. The press conference, which will be attended by LA Galaxy Head Coach and General Manager Bruce Arena and Galaxy captain Landon Donovan, will begin at 12 p.m. inside the Screening Room at the ESPN Zone.
What is the breaking news going to be? Will it be the announcement of Landon and David’s departure in January? Will it be the announcement of a new DP signing? All this hype is about Landon signing a new deal. What a production over nothing. It again further legitimizes Landon’s unability to take his game to the next level. Yes, a loan spell at Everton will fill the void, but not able to sign on over the pond for an extended period of time will only hamper his ability to become a great player on both the club level and national level. Great job Landon, keep on dominating the MLS. We’ll see if you show up in South Africa.
