Marseille 1-1 Lens

The title holders missed the win again. Versus a weak team of Lens, Marseille offered a very poor show to their fans. The early goal of Stéphane Mbia let think it would be a prolific and pleasant night for Didier Deschamps’s team. But thanks to the amazing passivity of Marseille, Lens seized the chance and brought back a precious draw with a nice goal from the Brazilian Eduardo. Once again, this league is homogenous and the Southerners are far from having said their last word since Brest is only at 3 points. But l’OM seriously have to show some more, especially a few days before the crucial game at Moscow in Champion’s League…

Lorient 1-1 PSG

Paris seems to have definately found its inner peace. Dominating the game, they conceeded a goal of the talented recruit Lynel Kitambala. When the “old Paris” would have conceeded more goals, this one keeps his cool and counts on its fantastic Brazilian Nêne. Scoring his 7th goal this year, the former midfielder of Monaco answered to the critics of the beginning of the season about his coming. Paris is still a credible candidate for the top 3, minimum…

Caen 2-5 Lille

Last week, I told you Lille could beat anyone as soon as their offensive style put them on fire. Caen made an ideal victim during this game, chosing to attack and not to wait for counter attacks. The three goals of Moussa Sow (now the former Rennes striker is the top scorer of the championship) are almost all of great quality giving regrets about his nationality for French fans (Sow is an international from Senegal). Now, every one knows that Lille is not a joke and is even capable of disturbing the top 3.
