A sellout crowd will witness the decisive U.S. Men’s National Team’s 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Guatemala on Oct. 16 at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kan. The match will mark the first time the stadium has hosted a World Cup Qualifier.

Fans are also encouraged to attend the team’s free public training session on Sunday, Oct. 14 at 10:30 a.m. CT at LIVESTRONG Sporting Park. Fans can register on ussoccer.com for the chance to win a meeting with U.S. Men’s National Team head coach Jurgen Klinsmann at the stadium prior to the public training session. The USA faces Guatemala on the final matchday of the Semifinal Round in 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifying. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. CT, and the match will be broadcast live on ESPN2, WatchESPN and the Univision family. Fans can also follow the match live on ussoccer.com’s MatchTracker and on Twitter @ussoccer.

The U.S. is currently even with Guatemala at the top of Group A with seven points and matching totals in both goal differential and goals scored. Jamaica also has seven points but sits in third place due to a lower goal differential. This scenario means that no team will be able to secure a place in the final round prior to the Oct. 16 matches. Semifinal Round action resumes Oct. 12, with the United States facing Antigua & Barbuda at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in North Sound, Antigua, while Guatemala hosts Jamaica.
