After a brief three-day stay in Arizona, Real Salt Lake has returned to Utah to continue preparations for next week’s CONCACAF Champions League Semifinal Round opener vs. Costa Rica’s Deportivo Saprissa. After a day off on Thursday, the Claret-and-Cobalt will conduct practice sessions this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at its XanGo Field practice ground in Lehi, with all three sessions beginning at 11:00 a.m. On-field media availability for RSL players and coaches will follow each of the approximately 90-minute sessions in Lehi.

Both Real Salt Lake and Saprissa will take to the Rio Tinto Stadium field for final preparations on Monday, with RSL’s 60-minute session scheduled for an 11:00 a.m. start and Saprissa’s practice slated to begin at 7:00 p.m. MT. The regional club championship’s Semifinal Round will begin a night later on Tuesday, March 15, when Real Salt Lake will carry the torch for the United States and Major League Soccer against the Costa Rican powerhouse, with kickoff in Sandy slated for 8:00 p.m. MT.
