U.S. Soccer announced there will be an additional sales phase of 2010 FIFA World Cup tickets for matches involving the U.S. Men’s National Team from Feb. 9 to April 7, 2010. With excitement building towards the opening of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, the organizers are making more tickets available on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to availability, for USA citizens and residents interested in sitting in USA fan sections.

The U.S. Men’s National Team has been drawn into Group C with England, Slovenia and Algeria. The U.S. will open its sixth consecutive World Cup finals tournament against England on June 12 in Rustenburg, and will follow that game with matches against Slovenia on June 18 in Johannesburg and Algeria on June 23 in Tshwane/Pretoria.

FIFA’s ticket sales regulations will apply to all orders. Ticket requestors are required to provide detailed information about the identities of each person using each ticket, including passport number. A household may apply for tickets to up to seven matches across the entire tournament and no more than four tickets for any single match. These limits apply to all phases of FIFA’s ticketing process, including those phases already completed. More information on FIFA’s ticket sales process is available here. U.S. Soccer will post a direct link from ussoccer.com to the order form page once it becomes available from FIFA.
