AC Milan welcomes Brescia in 15th round of Italian Serie A. Red hot Rossoneri couldn’t wish better opponent for keeping their great form and, of course, the long run of results that bring championship title.

Brescia are relegation battlers, sitting only one place better than relegation zone. They collected only 12 points from 14 games, losing eight out of fourteen games. Numbers look even worse ahead of this game: only four points from away game, with miserable score sheet of four goals. Brescia made a dream start of the season, winning three of first four games of the season, beating Roma and Palermo in the process. Since then, they recorded three draws and seven defeats, spiced with 5-1 loss from Catania in Coppa Italia. Brescia scored only five goals in those ten games, but here’s the fact that should keep Milan waked up. Throughout the season, against the top teams (they’ve played with Palermo, Roma, Lazio, Inter and Juventus so far) they’ve recorded two victories, two draws and only one loss.

However, Rossoneri are full of confidence despite the last weekend draw in Genoa, which they deserved to win anyway. They’re topping the table with impressive score, and have a perfect opportunity to renew the three points lead ahead of Lazio, who beated with Scudetto holders Inter earler in this round. The team is going to be boosted with the come back of master mind Andrea Pirlo in midfield. Unlike the bad away record of Brescia, they keep winning everybody on San Siro.

AC Milan will miss only the long term injuries Alexandre Pato, Massimo Oddo and Phillipo Inzaghi. It’s expected coach Massimiliano Allegri to field his favorite 4-3-1-2 formation, with ZLatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho in attack and veteran Clarence Seedorf just behind them, providing great collaboration between midfield and strikers. Andrea Pirlo will probably start from the bench in second half.

Brescia coach Giuseppe Iachini has no problems ahead of the game. Their best scorer Andrea Caracciolo will start as lone striker, with creative Alessandro Diamanti and Kone behind him.

Caracciolo showed some signs of braveness, stating that they will play to win the game, but admitted that it will be a tough one. And he is right, about the second, at least. It will be very tough for Brescia. We could expect nothing but victory for the hosts. Soccer is unpredictable game, but predictions can’t be different. Although Brescia have decent record against the European spot seekers, it’s not enough. Iachini will probably be clever to play for draw, trying to get anything from the match. However, Allegri’s boys are all world class players and shouldn’t let teams like Brescia to stand their way.
