EPL Boxing Day showcase to fixture London derbies

Arsenal, Manchester United and Everton will play at home on the 26th.

While in most countries, there is a winter break of at least a week  for the football season, but in England matches are played throughout the festive period. will go back to the full compliment of 10 matches on Christmas day followed by another complete league day the Saturday 28th before concluding the feat EPL period on New Years day with week 21. A total of three games in little less than a week will be played to provide fans all over the England with best entertainment during the end of the year celebration.

Boxing Day is the day following Christmas Day. Traditionally,  matches on Boxing Day are played against local rivals. This was originally to avoid teams and their fans having to travel a long distance to an away game on the day after Christmas Day. This year, London will host the majority of Boxing days games with three derbies to perpetuate the Boxing Day tradition. For British fans it  arguably one of the favorite football days of the year, one day of the year they surely know they will attend or watch football matches.

Indeed, the Christmas celebrations will be over. The turkey will have been carved, relished and compared to last year’s roast.
