As a man who has only recently retuned to the UK after living in Africa for over a year, the unexpected cold spells had been extremely unwelcome! The weather has also been unwelcome for most football fans with over 100 hundred games being called off. I don’t know why it is, but in the UK the minute it snows the place comes to a standstill! Anyway the Gunners managed a quite brilliant win against an out of form Chelsea side on monday night and followed it up with dreadful draw against a ten man Wigan outfit. I hate to be a bore and keep repeating myself but Arsenal will not win the league unless they win against weaker opposition! They do the hard work beating the champions and then fail miserably at the DW stadium!

Also all Gunners fans should be praying that Wenger uses some cash to buy a good keeper. Fabianski still looks dodgy and out of his depth and completely inept at catching crosses as yet again against Wigan the 2nd goal was his fault, as was the consolation goal for Chelsea. The gunners look amazing at times and schoolboy at others. CONSISTENCY is the key and they don’t have it. Fabregas has been out of sorts this season due to injury and only really Wilshere and Nasri and been consistent excellent performers. The only bonus for the gunners is that this is easily the closest EPL in many a year with 5 teams still in with a shout. But usually by end of Feb there would only be 2 teams in the title race. Lets see if the Gunners will be included.
