Sky Betting & Gaming and Endemol Shine UK today announce the worldwide launch of Sky Sports Soccer Quiz, a brand new mobile trivia game, available to download for free on iOS and Android.

Featuring Sky Sports analysts Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher, plus presenter Natalie Sawyer as your host, the Sky Sports Soccer Quiz tests players’ knowledge to build possession, score goals, and win matches!

Fans can play as their favourite club, and compete in over fifty cup competitions, as well as going Head to Head against Facebook friends and other supporters. There are a variety of question packs to choose from, covering the major European and World leagues, testing players on famous wins, club rivalries, players, stadia, transfers, spot the ball and more.

Players can also use lifelines that feature their favourite Sky Sports analysts for advice, including former Premier League players Paul Merson, Dwight Yorke, Matt Le Tissier and Alan Smith, as well as show hosts Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher.

Bruce Bale, Head of Social Games at Sky Betting & Gaming, said that they were delighted to launch the game in partnership with London-based Endemol Shine UK.

“Soccer trivia has always been an incredibly popular genre. Fans love to test their own knowledge and challenge friends to see who knows more about the Premier League, World Cups, and their favourite club.

“We have developed a new exclusive format for Sky Sports Soccer Quiz that takes answering questions onto the pitch, with extra time and penalties if there’s a draw, which should be popular with supporters.”

“Millions of people enjoy watching live matches and getting the latest news from Sky Sports, as the unrivalled choice for fans, and this game gives them yet another way to enjoy their favourite sport.

Anil Mistry, Head of Apps at Endemol Shine UK, added: “Launching this new branded app in partnership with Sky Betting & Gaming is a brilliant way for us to engage with loyal and dedicated fans. Sky Sports Soccer Quiz will be packed with entertaining content which will no doubt be a massive draw for trivia and sports fans alike. This game is a great addition to our successful network of apps.”
